In my home country, Italy, there’s this myth about tire shop owners going around at night slashing tires to create more customers. Although I wouldn’t put it below my compatriots morals, I’m quite confident it’s just a myth.

However, the concept of creating your own customers it’s actually very useful in analyzing political ideologies.

The main selling point of the Left is to help the poors, the victims, the last, the disadvantaged. And reliably so, those people have been voting leftist politicians for decades.

Of the 11 poorest cities in the US, how many do you think are run by Democrat Mayors?

11. Louisville, Kentucky — DEM

10. Boston, Massachusetts — DEM

9. Indianapolis, Indiana — DEM

8. El Paso, Texas — DEM

7. Fresno, California — DEM

6. Baltimore, Maryland — DEM

5. Tucson, Arizona — DEM

4. Memphis, Tennessee — DEM

3. Philadelphia, Pennsylvania — DEM

2. Milwaukee, Wisconsin — DEM

1. Detroit, Michigan — DEM

Since this strikes me as of too much of coincidence I propose we take a look at what policies do…
