Why I Was Wrong About Gun Control

Criminals and young men with mental health problems exists all around the world yet only in America there’s a mass shooting every other month. Why?

The Founding Fathers, in their infinite wisdom, correctly predicted that the best way to safeguard democracy from tyranny was to let citizens be armed. No country that had an armed population has ever fallen prey of Fascism or Nazism or Communism. Not even one.

The United States of America is the longest and most stable Democracy the world has ever seen precisely because of the first 2 amendments. Anybody who denies that it’s either a liar or a fool.

However, since we’re in the business of being honest, the United States of America is also the only country in the world that have regular occurrences of mass shootings.

The latest happened yesterday in Parkland, Florida. 17 kids have lost their lives and hundreds of survivors will forever live in fear. Less than 6 months ago a worse shooting happened in Vegas, 51 casualties and 851 injuries. Their mistake? Attending a concert. The list goes on and on.
