If you think it’s impossible for 3 contemporary intellectuals to stand on a public stage for 2 hours and call the President of the United States a cruel monster, incompetent, mentally ill, authoritarian, the most lying person in history and a clown without providing a single evidence for such claims, well, take a seat because you’re in for a long ride

Min 11.44 / Sam Harris: “I promise we’re not going to focus exclusively on politics” — Really?

Min 12.45 / David Frum: “I don’t know why I should be so worried (about not appearing partisan on Trump) when you express a moral attitude, a political attitude, it’s either true or false, it’s either plausible or not” — Remember this philosophy that David aspires to, it won’t last much longer.

Min 13.31 / David Frum: “He (Trump) is cruel, he’s cruel to animals, he’s cruel to his children, he’s cruel to people who depend on him, he’s cruel to the men and women who come into his orbit” — In the same very sentence he carelessly jumped from caring about whether moral/political attitudes are true or false to accusing Trump of being cruel to everybody, including his own children. It goes without saying that he doesn’t provide any examples of such vast cruelness for the rest of the podcast. File…
