Before, during and after the election, Sam Harris have been incredibly vocal about his feelings about Donald Trump. He called him a “sociopath, a conman, an evil Chancey Gardner, a maniac” and so on. Listening to his podcasts in the last couple of years one could drown into his ad hominem attacks.

Since Trump took office, on January 20th 2017, the U.S. economy have boomed adding north of $5T to the stock market and achieved 3% GDP quarterly growth twice already. If you think these numbers mean nothing to you or the everyday american, think again. Between 20% and 30% of American workers have active 401 (k) plans whose performance are directly correlated to the stock market, so much so that in August “retirement savings account balances have hit all-time highs.”

Another direct result of Trump’s booming economy is the unemployment rate, which now stands at 4.1% or the lowest level since 2000. More Americans are putting food on their table, sending their children to good schools and participating into the economic life of the nation.
